Mobile Application Developer
A superb opportunity for mobile application developers to join a start-up mobile communications technology vendor as Mobile Application Designer and Developer, based in Central London.
In this hugely exciting role you will be responsible for the design, production and further evolution of a mobile handset application which forms a key part of an innovative mobile consumer advertising solution that has the potential to take over the world.
This is a unique opportunity to develop leading-edge mobile software that should be used by millions of people around the world. This is a technically challenging role that also requires strong design skills, and has scope to become a team lead role over time.
As a successful candidate you will have proven mobile application development and design experience focussing on the consumer market (a portfolio of commercially successful apps isexpected). Strong J2ME and Java skills are required, along with experience developing for one or more of S60 / Symbian, iPhone, Linux / Android, Blackberry and Windows Mobile. You should have an understanding of mobile OS compatibility issues also. Any experience of Ajax-based UI designs, C / C++, web development or server-side development is a bonus.
Absolutely key is the desire to develop as part of an initially small team a global consumer-oriented solution for the mobile communications marketplace.
