Our client is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to further implement and support a Quality Assurance Process that has been established over the past months. Building on past achievements, the individual is needed to help extend the Quality Management System to other business areas.

Project Background:

Under the frame-work of the Non Patent Literature conversion activity, an overall Quality
Management Process has been implemented and needs to be further refined and maintained.
Extension of the QMS to other areas such as Patent Literature Reception, Validation and Loading is the second step with a view to an ISO 9000 certification towards the end of the year for some areas. In this context further support from an experienced QMS Expert is required.

Main duties

Reviewing existing Quality process document
Refining such documentation, detecting where insufficient, proposing and discussing improvements
Together with the Project Manager, implementing an SLA between the service and the user community based upon the above processes.
Implementation of the Quality Process: Monitoring activities, data analysis and error handling within the Quality Process.
Communication of Quality issues, Process Implementation and status reports within the Principal
Directorate as well as to database users in the examiner community

Mandatory skills

Academic level degree
Working background in Quality Assurance Processes, Quality Management Systems, Quality
Programming skills (e.g. Java) would be an advantage
A very systematic working style

Certification

Experience in database management
Good working knowledge of written and spoken English
Excellent communication skills, both orally and in written
A team based approach and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and multicultural environment.
