Procurement Specialist
(Based in Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Sydney)

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for organizing and participating in the selection and management of suppliers in local country, building long-term and stable partnership with suppliers according to company's procurement strategies, keep consistent supply, reduce the synthetically cost of procurement and obtain competitive advantage in procurement area.
  • Responsible for huge volume of key project purchasing program
  • Analyze procurement demand in the market, achieve objectives of procurement cost control and lower general cost of procurement
  • Gather and analyze industrial markets, clients, research and development information according to the category of materials, for the sourcing potential suppliers to ensure validity of procurement strategies
  • Identify risks from the on-changing global procurement environment, set up and implement anti-risk system, to keep supply consistently
  • Organize periodically communications session with suppliers according to the categorization management and to build good relationship with suppliers
Requirements:
  • Posses Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business Management or International Trade
  • Experience in international resource selection and purchasing, managing vendors and suppliers
  • 5 years' or above working experience in multi-national environment with at least 3 years in managerial role
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels
  • Strong leadership qualities and management skills
  • Mobile and flexible, willing to travel excessively within Asia Pacific region
  • Good spoken and written in English, while proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage
