Software Engineer, Ireland
Duration : 6 months + Contract
Our Client - a Global Leader in mobile and fixed networks, multimedia solutions and telecom services, is currently looking for an experienced Software Engineer.
Software Engineer will join our client's team on a contract basis and assist in design and development of customized solutions for their end customers.
Software Engineer will be responsible for design and development of Tech-Packs to process stat files being sent out to Performance Monitoring Tool from mobile network components. The duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Working as part of a team,
- Designing & Developing Tech-Packs using stat files,
- Being involved in product testing,
- Being involved in deployment, integration and troubleshooting.
- Proven track record in Software Development, E2E software development lifecycle experience,
- Experience working with stat files (XML, Binary files etc),
- Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Shell etc.),
- Database Design & Development experience, ideally with Sybase,
- Software implementation, integration and troubleshooting experience.
Desirable
1. Performance Monitoring/Management tools experience,
2. Previous mobile telecommunications experience,
3. Experience with tools such as ENIQ, SPM or PMS,
4. Experience with Java,
