Building on past achievements, the individual is needed to help extend the Quality Management System to other business areas.

Project Background:

• Under the frame-work of the Non Patent Literature conversion activity, an overall Quality
• Management Process has been implemented and needs to be further refined and maintained.
• Extension of the QMS to other areas such as Patent Literature Reception, Validation and Loading is the second step with a view to an ISO 9000 certification towards the end of the year for some areas. In this context further support from an experienced QMS Expert is required.

Main duties

• Reviewing existing Quality process document
• Refining such documentation, detecting where insufficient, proposing and discussing improvements
• Together with the Project Manager, implementing an SLA between the service and the user community based upon the above processes.
• Implementation of the Quality Process: Monitoring activities, data analysis and error handling within the Quality Process.
• Communication of Quality issues, Process Implementation and status reports within the Principal
• Directorate as well as to database users in the examiner community

Mandatory skills

• Academic level degree
• Working background in Quality Assurance Processes, Quality Management Systems, Quality
• Programming skills (e.g. Java) would be an advantage
• A very systematic working style

Certification
